Job Purpose
The Intern Trade Marketing Administrator supports the Africa Distribution Markets (ADM) marketing and sales teams by providing administrative support while following our internal intern graduate programme. The programme is designed to integrate your theorical knowledge with on-the-job application and experience, providing valued workplace experience in commercial teams.
Job Requirements
Your main areas of responsibility will include the following:
- Forecasting co-ordination, tracking and administration between distributors and internal teams
- Database maintenance
- Product registrations and catalogue updates
- Report administration and coordination
- Sharepoint administration and maintenance
- Both maintenance and administration
- Both data collection
- General administration (e.g purchase orders, tracking, follow up)
- Collaborate with team members and members of other departments
- Graduate Intern Programme completion to standard
- Assistance in market research
- Exposure on ATL and BLT marketing plans
Education:
- Degree in business administration or marketing or equivalent
- MS Excel essential
- French or Arabic speaking an advantage
- Computer literate and able to work with systems and software
- Proficient in Microsoft office with a minimum of basic Excel
- English proficiency with sound oral and written communication skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Able to prioritise and self-manage deliverables
- Good level of planning, organization and detail-orientation
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Good attitude toward teamwork as well as the ability to work independently
- Good research and reporting skills
