The role of Marketing Manager is to support the Senior Marketing Manager in executing the Businesss marketing strategy and priority campaigns. This role is based in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and evolution of the retail marketing strategy, organisation and value proposition.
- Brief, develop and implement the retail priority campaigns that support a strong value proposition.
- Ensure campaign messaging aligns with retail value proposition and supports Brand.
- Successful delivery of priority campaigns through agile methodology.
- Participate in and provide input into agile pods and campaigns.
- Execute digital campaigns and initiatives to drive business growth
- Planning, development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including online advertising, email and SMS marketing, social media, mobile etc.
- Deliver sales, leads or prospecting digital campaigns
- Track, evaluate and report success through effective measurement metrics
- Ensure that robust measurement metrics are in place to track campaign performance, and that these are understood and driven by agencies and other stakeholders.
- Evaluate and track success of agencies campaigns against metrics.
- Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase profitability
- Ensure timeous post campaign analysis and campaign reporting against campaign targets.
- Provide marketing support to retail businesses and cluster-wide initiatives.
- Ensure alignment of all product campaigns with retail value proposition and priority campaigns.
- Sound stakeholder relationships both internal (business units) and external (agency partners).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media practices.
- Knowledge of marketing analytics and return on Investment (ROI) measurements.
- Knowledge of managing multiple campaigns and action various initiatives.
- 7 years relevant experience in marketing and communications management.
- 3 years experience within the Insurance and/or Financial Services Industry.
- Experience in brand management, campaign design and implementation.
- Proven track record in developing, executing and administering a marketing program.
- Proven track record of executing various marketing and communication initiatives.
- Proven track record in planning, executing & tracking digital marketing campaigns to enable business growth through online leads & sales.
- Experience in agile marketing practices will be an advantage.
- Experience in fast moving consumer goods will be an advantage.
- Strong digital marketing experience is required.
- B. Comm degree in Marketing Management, Public Relations or related discipline.
