Purpose of Position:

To process specimens according to set criteria and standards on all benches in the Microbiology Laboratory and to provide training to the employees on all benches.

Requirements:

HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field, National Diploma: Biomedical Technology

Required Experience:

Knowledge: HPCSA regulations, Knowledge: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA)

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Perform bench responsibilities in order to ensure that specimens are processed timeously, Perform general senior responsibilities on benches to ensure best practise is upheld within the laboratory, Train staff in order to ensure a sufficient level of staff competency is upheld
