The National Swim Manager is responsible for managing the swimming strategy and ensuring that the swim program performs in alignment with commercial objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting swim revenue services, member swim service initiatives, and swim resourcing while maintaining quality delivery standards. The National Swim Manager will also oversee the management of client relationships, including identifying opportunities for new contracts and analyzing data to identify areas of business growth. In addition, the National Swim Manager will be responsible for monitoring local regulations and work on new projects while negotiating contract terms.
Your Duties and Responsibilities...
- Revenue Growth: The National Swim Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the development of new swim services and initiatives. This KPI will measure the success of the position in generating revenue for the organization. The National Swim Manager must work to increase the organization's market share in the swim space.
- Customer Satisfaction, Retention & Safety: The National Swim Manager must ensure that customers are satisfied with the swim services provided by the organization. The National Swim Manager must monitor local health & safety and other regulations to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- People Management & Resources: The National Swim Manager must manage employee and contractor relationships and business development opportunities within the VASA swim programme and all swim ancillary lines. Manage the sourcing, recruitment , training and performance of swim managers and swim coaches.
- Product Development: The National Swim Manager must oversee the development of new swim products and services that meet the needs of the target market. This KPI will measure the success of the position in developing products that are in line with market demand.
- Cost & System Management: The National Swim Manager must manage the budget for swim revenue services, capex initiatives, member swim service systems and resourcing (both customer facing and internal).

- Swim coaching / teaching experience and qualifications
- Formal Sport Science, Exercise, or Fitness qualification
- 3 years of Senior Management experience managing swim and ancillary lines
- Exceptional commercial & business acumen within the field of health & wellness
- Project management, business planning skills, and experience in driving innovative thinking.
- Strong stakeholder communications skills
