About The Position
This position is based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea and report directly report to the General Manager. You'll play an integral role within the global team, overseeing the marketing department. Your responsibilities will include executing marketing, advertising, and promotional strategies across all franchises and dealerships to optimize sales performance for the company.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute marketing plans and strategies.
- Manage the annual Marketing Department budget.
- Negotiate contracts with advertising agencies and monitor performance.
- Build relationships with media and suppliers.
- Ensure marketing activities align with the calendar.
- Review and adjust press releases and promotional materials.
- Implement and enforce Marketing policies and procedures.
- Present marketing analysis to support initiatives.
- Coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility Program proposals.
- Review and improve Marketing processes annually.
- Lead and mentor team members for professional growth.
- Analyze survey data for pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with managers on product launches and promotions.
- Adjust monthly reports and publish website articles.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
- Bachelors degree in marketing / business management / related field.
- 5+ years in Senior Marketing or similar role with 3+ years in supervisory or management roles.
- Experience working in Automotive industry - highly regarded.
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation.
- Financial and budget planning expertise.
- Experience in contractor negotiation and management.
- Organizational and planning abilities to meet goals.
- Proficient in report writing and project management.
- Knowledge of Marketing principles and statistical analysis.
