An occupational therapist (OT) working in a mental health environment has a crucial
role in helping individuals with mental health conditions achieve their maximum
potential in daily living and community participation.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include assessments, group therapy sessions, individual
sessions where indicated and patient meetings. Inter-disciplinary teamwork is a crucial

Requirements, Experience And Qualifications/Training
- BSc Occupational Therapy (community service year completed)
- Maintain CPD standing as required by HPCSA
- Registered with HPCSA (independent practitioner & INSTOPP/OTASA Membership and Malpractice Insurance
- Valid drivers license and own transport
- 2 years or more relevant experience in Mental Health/Addiction environment
