Job Summary
We are inviting an experienced Scheduling Engineer to become a vital part of our Project Management Team. Our PMT is renowned for delivering first-class capital projects across various industries. In this role, you will be instrumental in the planning and execution of a wide range of projects, from smaller ventures to multi-billion dollar mega projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop resource-loaded schedules, utilizing productivity standards for optimal efficiency.
- Collect and analyze timing data to comprehensively plan and schedule the entire project scope.
- Collaborate with Design Consultants, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Contractors to develop and maintain critical path schedules and progress measurement systems.
- Create and implement a Work Breakdown Structure for contractors' baseline schedules and progress reporting.
- Employ schedule management best practices and prepare materials to communicate plans and schedules to project teams and stakeholders.
- Assist in evaluating project progress, focusing on deviations from planned activities.
- Participate in financial forecasting sessions to align schedule and costs.
- Provide critical timing information for accurate cost forecasting and understand cost weightings in progress systems for weighted progress reports.
- Continuously update and refine schedules as projects evolve, incorporating data from various sources, including Field Construction Analysts.
- Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- Preferred for candidate who has South Africa and/or Egypt background experiences.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
- A minimum of twelve years of experience, with at least ten years dedicated to developing baseline critical path schedules and progress measurement systems, preferably using ORACLE Primavera software version 15.2 or later.
- Proven expertise in planning, updating, tracking, analyzing, and reporting work performance across all project phases.
