We are looking to strengthen the team with a Funding Operations Manager to help meet the demands of Zepzs continuing growth, you will be a member of the Treasury team.
This person will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily funding of 230+ pay-out partners globally. You will ensure that our extensive network of pay-out partners are funded at all times at the same time ensuring we do not over commit our working capital unnecessarily. This role plays a key role in incident management, resolution and reporting.
The role will develop a deep understanding of the transaction lifecycle and the characteristics of our network of pay-out partners.
As a member of WorldRemits Treasury team you will aim high, embrace challenges and always do whats right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the companys technical direction and long term decision making.
Reporting To The Deputy Treasurer, You Will
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of funding strategies to ensure it is aligned with business plans.
- Develop an excellent understanding of the operating events and relationships that impact cashflows.
- Develop a highly focused and innovative funding and funding support teams
- Take leadership in building and maintaining first class relationships with group Pay-out and Banking partners to ensure optimal process and efficient resolution as required
- Responsible for daily KPI reporting and other reporting at senior level
- Lead the outage response and reporting process ensuring the target resolution times are met. Ensure that incidents are managed in accordance with internal policies.
- Play a key role in development of Group funding and outage management procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills across all levels in an organisation and with external stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving skills, ability to handle complex issues, identify root cause and lead the solution.
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment, deliver solutions while working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to assess and evaluate the risk associated with issues, and communicate impacts to the business including senior management.
- Disciplined and organised mind-set with good attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise variable workload with tight deadlines.
- A Bachelors degree in Finance, Business or Accounting.
