- Collaborate with HR to ensure all payroll processing is loaded to the payroll system.
- Verify that onboarding documentation is complete.
- Capture and issue an Employee number (Permanent or Fixed Term Contract) from SAP.
- Place all documents for records purposes.
- Arranging the Petty Cash claims.
- Submit the complete and accurate forms from employees to Medical Aid Schemes and Pension Funds.
- Assist with any pay queries from staff members and offer solutions, e.g. payslips, employee benefits, SARS, travel claims etc.
- Audit the SAP and Educos system to ensure that the employee details are correct and to see that the system is functioning as it should.
- Check the Time & Attendance control sheets to the T&A reports from SAP within 3 days of the new month.
- Validate employee time and attendance records from wage clocking systems by checking that the overtime, shift allowances and other allowances were correctly reported on the control sheet.
- Ensure that all application or forms submitted to be checked before accepting for processing (Team Building, Study Assistance, Child Education Loans etc.)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A completed Matric qualification.
- National Diploma or degree in Payroll, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 5 years experience in similar role.
