Aspart of a wider HR transformation program and the spin-off of Siemens Energyfrom Siemens, the payroll operating model moving forward will be fullycomprehensive, split between a professional HR BPO for zero to gross processingand managed payroll (gross to net) with industry leading payroll providers. Weare looking for Regional Payroll Specialist to support our Regional PayrollLeads in driving and implementing the overall strategy and governance forpayroll within the region, ensuring operational performance with third parties, driving standardization & efficient / lean processes, and collaborativelyworking with internal stakeholders.

- Supportthe Global and Regional Payroll Leads in developing and building the globalpayroll governance approach.
- Ensurecontrol framework is implemented and actively supervised in the region.
- Ensurepayroll performance of third parties through key performance and riskindicators.
- Findopportunities for improvement (i.e., processes) to ensure global standard andefficient operational delivery.
- Bringsound knowledge and experience of multi-country payroll delivery andgovernance, delivering change and re-engineering processes.
- Workingwith other partners i.e., Accounting, Treasury etc, to ensure roles andresponsibilities are clearly defined and followed.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve payroll queries as they are escalated through HR, managers, and employees.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll processing in Africa on a regional orsub-regional scale. Preferablyexperience on a multi country payroll outsourcing environment.
- Sound knowledge on Personal Income Tax, Wage Tax and Social Securityregulations in the different countries of Africa Region.
- Soundknowledge of payroll accounting, payroll compliances and audits.
- Fulltime bachelors degree (accounting/finance background is a plus)
- Collaborativestyle, happy to interact with many stakeholders, e.g., in HR Centers of Competenceand HR in the Regions, Accounting department, IT department, management, external vendors etc.
- Thrivesin a global environment, working flexibly where required.
- Mustbe fluent in English and proficient in French.
- Proficiencyin using MS Office tools (MS Outlook, Teams, Excel etc.).
