Planning Learner
Job Purpose
- Responsible for planning, scheduling and ordering of affiliate / 3rd party finished / raw materials as well as for the scheduling of local finished powders products, in order to achieve and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and Organisational Targets (PIR/golden rules/best practices, SLOB, etc.).
- Follow the parameterization in SAP.
- Identify and resolve shortages through efficient scheduling to ensure an appropriate level of inventory following corporate standards.
- Ensure customer (internal and external) response on time managing realistic daily plans considering capacity and raw material availability (MRP).
- Work under the standards of quality, safety and industrial hygiene and good practices.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and participate in lean initiatives
- Track purchase orders and escalate problems
- Communicate and interact with relevant departments and business partners in order to solve issues.
- Achieve and maintain service level targets.
- Obsolescence Control (use of SLOB Tool for Inventory and Risk assessment).
- Review customer orders for raw materials resale demands.
- Provide mid to long term forecast to procurement.
- Resolve or escalate issues related to orders, working with production, customer care and regional and global affiliates as required.
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly status reports (e.g. COOISPI schedule, OTS, past due purchase orders) and distribute.
- Receive and record vendor confirmations, file purchase order documents, other duties as required. Work with materials planners and purchasing group to resolve vendor issues.
- Manage Packaging Supply.
- May be required to run KPI reports and assist Planning Manager with adhoc requests.
- Enter required planning data into SAP.
- Liaise with Logistics to ensure that the finished products will be shipped on time.
- Work with materials and production planners to resolve supply issues.
- Become a part of the team, be a team player ,work well under pressure with all planners and other departments
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Supply Chain / Planning
Professional Experience
- None required, some experience in the area is beneficial.
- APICS certification desired
- ERP/MRP expertise
- Strong affinity to systems and analytical tools (Desired SAP, BI, BO)
- Language skills: English * Fluent
- Microsoft Office Suite expertise
