What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)

Reporting to the COO you will be responsible for overseeing the development and lifecycle of all products, aligned to the product vision and strategy. You will continuously define, build and bring to market the SaaS products that drive business growth.

Your Main Duties Will Also Include

Conducting market research to identify customer needs and trends
Working with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and launch of new products
Defining and analyzing key metrics to measure the success of a product
Collaborating with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure a seamless user experience
Making data-driven decisions to prioritize and make trade-off choices
Creating and managing a product roadmap that aligns with the overall business strategy
Ensuring the product aligns with the company's vision and goals.

Where you'll be doing it

The offices are in Cape Town. The team works a hybrid model, so it's ideal for someone based in Cape Town, but there is flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.

What you'll need

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems or equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Product Manager for a SaaS company
Good understanding of the SDLC and familiarity of technical concepts
Experience working within an Agile environment, and awareness of critical concepts like Agile/SCRUM/Kanban principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent ability to manage Stakeholders
Experience within Chat Commerce, Payments or Financial Services would be advantageous, but not essential
