An advisory services organisation is seeking an exceptional Tech Product Manager who is passionate about technology and enjoys working with people. This role involves overseeing the product development cycle of the tech team. The selected candidate will work closely with the operations/CEO to understand required business processes and translate them into user stories. They will manage the tech team in implementing these user stories using an agile and design-thinking approach. This position requires managing a team of developers as a scrum master, performing quality assurance and user acceptance testing on the code. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of coding experience and experience as a product owner/manager. The requirement is for at least 4 hours in the morning.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the tech development processes, converting business processes into efficient tech processes, and managing the development cycle.
- Provide exceptional leadership throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and the tech team.
- Resolve conflicts and address challenges that arise during the development process.
- Pay close attention to detail when documenting processes, requirements, and technical specifications.
- At least 6 years of experience in tech development and product management or a similar role.
- Proven track record of streamlining business processes into tech processes successfully.
- Strong management skills to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Excellent conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficient in documenting clear and comprehensive technical specifications.
- Expertise in Agile Product Development and Design Thinking.
- Available in the mornings for at least 4 hours per day
