KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
The key responsibilities of the position are as follows, but not limited to:
- Coordinating production workflow for multiple products.
- Work closely with production and process engineering to monitor production process to ensure that production orders are completed on time.
- Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimise delays in production.
- Monitor jobs for on time in full.
- Provide production status update to management.
- Further develop and implement long term solutions to improve the department.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- Communicate and cooperate with Leader and colleagues.
- Create and maintain schedules.
- All of the above objectives are to be completed striving at all times for Quality, Trust and Security Creating Confidence.
- Industrial Engineering B.ENG / Diploma in Project Management (or Equivalent).
- Minimum of 2-5 years professional market related experience in production planning, preferably to have plastic card experience.
- Ability to manage and support customers / functions / management.
- Provide meaningful input to superiors in order to facilitate decisions- must show leadership qualities.
- Ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong communication and writing skills are essential.
- Strong presenting skills and documentation skills.
- Cost conscious skills with improvement skills are essential.
- A desire to promote the success of the organisation and production staff.
