The property administrator will play a critical role in supporting the finance team with accounting for the various aspects of property, including rental, electricity, IFRS 16 lease adjustments and other related financial matters, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and maintaining the financial records for the property and network portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the accounting for property leases and rental income, ensuring accurate and timely billing, and reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of management reports and presentations relating to property
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and IFRS 16
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial data
- Participating in external audits and providing information and support as required
- Implementing and maintaining control processes to ensure that financial information is accurate and secure
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of lease accounting standards (IFRS 16) and property accounting is a plus.
- Experience with financial software, accounting systems, and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
