An opportunity exists for a Restaurant supervisor to join the team at The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay.
The service supervisor is to provide friendly, tentative and timely service in order to create an exceptional experience. To assist in the day to day running of the restaurants to help ensure the Village N Life concepts, manuals, SOPS and LOGS are kept current and implemented at all times.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- Hospitality qualification advantageous
- At least 2 years supervisory experience in Food and Beverage department in a 4/5 star environment
- Micros beneficial
- Ensure service levels are maintained
- Staff training
- Stock takes
- Ensure operational implementation of menu and wine policy as advertised.
- Assist in the co-ordination of functions and events
- Liaise and maintain the aesthetics of the restaurants
- Management reports
- Management accounts
- Foster relationships with members of the public
- HR matters (disciplinary enquiry etc)
- Maintain VIP database
- Ensure restaurant bookings system is up to date
- Upsell F&B services, accommodation and tourism services
- Responsible to reach sales targets
