Key Account Manager - Sales

Responsibilities:

As a Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business forward. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Meeting growth, revenue, and other relevant performance targets.
  • Growing the business by marketing products and services to enhance revenue and profitability in the current customer base.
  • Ensuring understanding and maximization of customer profitability.
  • Managing and negotiating customer pricing within set guidelines to achieve maximum profitability.
  • Actively developing strategic relationships with key decision-makers within the customer base.
  • Enhancing relationships with current and prospective clients by leveraging the credibility gained through knowledge and performance of the clients business environment and requirements.
Accountabilities and Performance Measures:
  • Achieving assigned budgets in designated strategic accounts.
  • Achieving strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
  • Completing strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
  • Maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings.
Requirements
  • Minimum Experience: 3-5 years of relevant sales account management experience.
  • Minimum Qualification: Higher Certificate or similar relevant tertiary qualification (NQF5).
  • Preferred Qualification: Diploma or similar relevant qualification (NQF6).
  • Valid, unendorsed Code 8 drivers license.
  • Strong understanding of client and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales principles and processes.
  • Computer literate: proficient at an Intermediate level in Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • Automotive industry experience highly advantageous
