Looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of ad coordinator and sales assistant. As an ad coordinator for our Energize and Engineer IT publications, you will act as a liaison between clients, sales executives and designers. You will need to ensure that all ad material is received timeously, send proofs, check and correct adverts, do follow ups and handle queries. As a sales assistant, you will be responsible for all sales support tasks including generating leads and assisting with all administrative tasks.
Responsibilities (Energize and Engineer IT):
- Send proof of ads to clients and make changes where necessary
- Check and correct ads for accuracy
- Follow up to ensure ads are finalised prior to deadline
- Deal with client queries regarding adverts
- Loading, administration and reporting of online banner adverts
- Liaising between sales executive, client and designer
- Signing off monthly invoicing reports
- Supporting the sales team in generating leads and identifying potential clients
- Assisting with all administrative tasks
- Coordinating and scheduling meetings, following up on action items
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions
- Collaborating with other departments to support sales efforts
- Be the backup to the advertising coordinators
- Assist the Sales Director with tasks as and when required
- Experience as a sales assistant, ad coordinator or similar role
- Magazine layout experience an advantage
- Knowledge of digital advertising an advantage
- Knowledge of CRM systems and practices
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
