Senior Administrator Corporate Actions Cape Town
Summary of the position
The Senior Administrator Corporate Actions will be responsible for the complete, accurate and timeous identification and processing of all Corporate Action Events on the Apex fund administration platforms.
Outline of main duties and responsibilities
The Main Responsibilities Of The Role Will Be To
- Create and maintain corporate event data as required on the Apex investment systems;
- Analyze event notification and ensure accurate & timeous processing of all events on ex-Date;
- Reconcile entitlements to CSDPs, both pre & post the event processing;
- Ensure all queries are identified and actioned timeously, per SLAs with clients;
- Update process documentation and assist in training for new staff joining the team;
- Assist Team Leaders and Specialists with ad hoc projects as the need arises;
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with external and internal clients;
- Stand in as a back-up for colleagues.
The successful candidate will have:
- A related degree or diploma;
- Preference will be given to applicants who have corporate actions experience or at least 3 years Asset Management experience and an understanding of Financial Markets
- Strong numerical and analytical skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to contribute to the overall team deliverables;
- Good communication skills.
- Innovator and self-starter with high energy and drive;
- Ability to work under pressure.
The Senior Administrator Corporate Actions will report to the Manager Corporate Actions.
