This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the entire Credit Control Function across three distinct legal entities within a corporate setting.

This position requires managing the day-to-day operations of credit control teams, ensuring the effective execution of processes, procedures, and systems, and driving continuous improvement.

You will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field and 5-10 years of experience managing a credit control environment of similar scale, handling over R200 million in receivables and 2, 000 clients.

Strong leadership abilities and a proven track record in corporate account collection are essential. The role demands excellent organisational, time management, and interpersonal skills, along with proficiency in various financial software packages.

You will be responsible for providing accurate and meaningful reports to management, managing customer disputes, and maintaining up-to-date customer information.

The role includes performing creditworthiness checks, managing overdue debt processes, and liaising with debt collection agencies and solicitors for litigation purposes when necessary.

Additionally, you will lead, develop, and mentor the credit control team, ensuring high levels of performance while meeting strict deadlines for debt and cash tracker reports. Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders is crucial to success in this role.
