Key Responsibilities
- Establish and Manage the IT project management office.
- Develop, implement and review the IT project management framework (policies, processes, procedures and systems), based on COBIT.
- Develop, implement and review relevant project planning, monitoring and evaluation tools.
- Manage all IT related projects.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of project management.
- Management of Project managers.
- Financial Management.
- Executive and project reporting.
- Be in possession of 3 year Degree or National Diploma in Information Technology.
- Be in possession of a valid Project Management Professional (PMBOK) Certification or a valid Prince 2 Practitioner certification.
- Minimum of 6 years work experience in an IT Project Management environment, of which 2 years should be in a senior project management role.
- Proven experience in establishing a project management office and managing project managers.
- Knowledge of project management.
- Knowledge of accounting management.
- Understanding IT service delivery standards (ITIL).
- Understanding IT governance standards (COBIT).
- Understanding of IT governance requirements as prescribed by DPSA.
