- D-Eng. / D-Tech / PhD qualification in mechanical engineering, with an undergraduate qualification in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of teaching/professional experience
- Evidence of research and postgraduate supervision
- Strong in the Fluid Mechanics and/or Thermodynamics knowledge area(s)
- Good Publication Record
- Good communication and lecturing skills
- A strong passion for teaching and research
- Professional registration with the council
- Teaching, assessing and supervising at all levels
- Development of learning
- The successful candidate is expected to supervise and be actively involved in research in the department
- Assist with administrative and other duties as prescribed by the Head of Department or Representative as delegated.
