Minimum Requirement
- Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery & Community Nursing Science/Diploma : Integrated
- Course Nurse (General, Midwifery, Psychiatric, Community)
- Diploma in Primary Health Care.
- Dispensing certificate.
- Nurse Initiated Management of Ant-Retroviral Treatment.
- 5 years as a health professional.
- Specialist Admin. System ITS.
- Nursing Professions Acts and Regulations.
- Primary Health Care.
- Drivers Licence.
- Computer proficiency in Ms Word/Excel.
- STI certificate for treatment of Sexually Transmitted infections.
- Family planning certificate including Implanon insertion and removal and intra uterine devices.
- HIV Counselling and Testing.
- Gender Based Violence Certificate.
- Certificate and Training on Sexual Harassments.
Provides a primary Health care service to students.
Be expected to relieve at any DUT campus in Durban.
Provide Health Promotion.
Provide a HIV/AIDS service including PMTCT, PICT, UTT, ART, NIMART, Prep, PEP and MMC.
Maintain clinic statistics and report on trends.
Works as a member of the Health Care team.
