Supervision of all the manufacturing and operational activities in the plants at Boskop.
- Ensure high quality and safety standards as per OHS-act and company procedures.
- Supervising and control of manufacturing processes.
- Supervising and control production personnel.
- Supervising and control of manufacturing facilities.
- Planning and control of production to achieve the sales plan.
- Daily feedback on production progress and problems encountered.
- Budget control of the various costs associated to the plant.
- Minimum B Tech Industrial/Chemical /Mechanical Engineering/ Explosive Technology/Operations Management/ or equivalent.
- At least 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment as a supervisor.
- Computer Literate and able to operate the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- Experience with an ERP system like SAP will be an advantage.
- Energetic, Self-motivated and able to work in a team.
- Good communication skills (i.e., both verbal and written)
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement and display initiative.
