Salary : R25000 - R45000 per month
Environment: Explore exciting opportunities with vacancies for two Senior Azure Cloud Engineers for project-based remote positions, and one Senior Azure Cloud Engineer for a dedicated role until year-end with possible renewal, all offering remote work options.
Requirements
- System Administration:
- Manage and administer Citrix infrastructure, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and XenServer environments;
- Install, configure, and maintain Citrix components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- User Management:
- Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels within Citrix environments;
- Monitor user sessions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor Citrix server performance, resource utilisation, and user sessions to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks;
- Implement performance optimisation strategies to enhance system efficiency and responsiveness.
- Expertise Showcase:
- Showcase expertise in Citrix technologies, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and XenServer, through effective system administration and troubleshooting;
- Demonstrate proficiency in managing virtualised desktops and applications within Citrix environments.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with IT teams, system administrators, and end-users to understand business requirements and provide Citrix solutions that meet organisational needs;
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to convey technical concepts, provide support, and address user concerns related to Citrix environments.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate documentation of Citrix configurations, policies, procedures, and best practices;
- Ensure Citrix environments comply with security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices related to data protection and access control.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
- Utilise troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve Citrix-related issues, such as application delivery, performance degradation, connectivity issues, and system errors;
- Implement proactive measures and incident response strategies to minimise downtime and disruptions in Citrix environments.
- Training and Mentorship:
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior team members or IT staff regarding Citrix administration, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques;
