WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Managing inbound inventory (Raw material and packaging) 274 Sku's
- Managing outbound inventory and ensuring safety of (Finish goods)
- Performing interorganizational transfers for co-packers
- Managing the flow of returnable pallet, drums and shippers
- Ordering Chep equipments (pallet and flow bins)
- Conducting monthly chep equipment audit and managing the level of stock to reduce daily rental charges
- Reconcilling Chep account
- Managing the issuing and returning of materials to production and dairy production jobs close out and reconciliation
- Receives plan and call off the materials from suppliers
- Communicating with suppliers to schedule and expedite deliveries
- Running monthly expired lots report and follow up on required action plans
- Running daily QC report and action as required
- Ensuring that FIFO and FEFO is adhered to
- Preparing and conduct monthly stock count and cycle counts
- Lead stock takes and ensure adherence to policy
- Lead stock take variances investigations and close on root causes.
- Lead MECP initiatives
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE
Required Prior Learning
- Matric or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment (preferably FMCG)
- Customer service orientation; basic administrative skills; team player
