Job Description
Old Mutual is seeking a Privileged Access Management Specialist. This role will report to the UAG platform owner and will be responsible for driving privileged access management for both on-premise and cloud environments. The role will work within the User Access Governance team to support the smooth running of the PAM applications and infrastructure and is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts, for periods of up to 3 months. The incumbent also has a broader knowledge of Identity and Access Management as well as Cyber Security and Governance Risk and Compliance.
- Supports the running of the PAM and IGA production applications and Infrastructure.
- Has experience with BeyondTrust Password Safe, AWS and Azure.
- Provides 24 x 7 first-line standby / support for PAM and IGA production environments.
- Participates in the design and implementation of PAM technologies for both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define PAM access control policies, role-based access models, and segregation of duties (SoD) rules to mitigate security risks.
- Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including IT (Information Technology) Operations, Cyber Security and Governance Risk and Compliance, to ensure effective access controls and a robust security posture.
- Creates temporary fixes within systems to achieve Service Level Agreements.
- Provides technical advice and consultation to the business.
- Identifies and implements cost saving / optimisation initiatives.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging threats, and evolving IAM technologies, and provide recommendations to enhance the organisation's security posture.
- Acquires and applies knowledge of business processes, procedures, policies and practices.
- Communicates effectively regarding support related activities.
- Participates in software and/or hardware upgrades.
- Responsible for capacity monitoring.
- Pro-actively monitors the production environment.
- Quality Assurance within role, checks work of others
- 5 to 7 years IAM working experience and a deep understanding of PAM solutions across multiple vendors.
- A strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. as well as a deep understanding of IAM technologies and best practices.
- Experience working with stakeholders across different functional areas and be able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- A formal qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as COBIT, ITIL, CISSP or CISM. will be an added advantage.
