- Receives items/stock as per schedule and verifies quantity.
- Checks item/stock quality and monitor this on an ongoing basis.
- Works closely with the Purchasing Department
- Keeping the storage and receiving areas clean and tidy at all times
- Issues lines with items/stock as per production plan.
- Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly
- Maintains housekeeping and layout according to company standards.
- Ensures that all store requisitions are signed by concerned department heads and approved by FC/GM depending on the hotels operation procedure
- Ensure stock quantity issued matches quantity requested
- Posts all invoices using Materials Control
- Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures particularly relating to food and beverage
- Administrate various systems within the stores
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Basic computer skills
- Familiar with Materials Control
- Have a good eye for detail
- 2-3 years experience in a similar position within Hospitality Industry
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written skills
- Flexible and able to work shifts
- Excellent telephone manner
