Job Description

The purpose of this role is to support in implementing an effective technical assurance provision for the Group Technical Functions, Supply Chain, Mining, Processing, Engineering and Maintenance, IM, SHE and GDG.

Your duties will include:

• Provide relevant and timeous information obtained from assurance systems used to facilitate informed decision making.
• Support on integration of assurance systems across all functional and global operations
• Support the development and continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices to assure compliance against standards, systems and processes
• Advise sites on assurance systems, programs and tools
• Coordinates assurance activities between Sites, Countries and Group Functions.

Qualifications

An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as Engineering (advantageous), Life Sciences, Environmental management, Technical, Social Sciences and Business Administration.

Knowledge and experience required:

• A demonstrated thought leader who is considered an accomplished practitioner in technical assurance systems.
• Demonstrated success in refining and integrating assurance systems across multi-national and multi-functional teams.
• Demonstrated operational background and knowledge.
• Understands technical assurance systems and processes.
• Knowledge of safety and technical policies, procedures and consistently demonstrates required behaviours and champions safety values.

Ability to:

• Refine technical assurance systems and support integration of assurance systems across all operations.
• Create and improve technical assurance tools.
• Facilitate informed decision making by refining assurance systems.
• Engage and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
