- Provide team support, advocacy, and vision to the TUA Talent Acquisition team who provide recruiting support to hiring Managers across TransUnion Africas business units. This team fills positions across South Africa and 7 African countries within Sales, Solutions, Product, Data Science, Technology, Finance, Marketing, HR and Strategy
- Develop new strategies and programs to attract candidates
- Provides strategic and full-service staffing support to the organisation
- Share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs, and coordinate on recruitment initiatives.
- Responsible for improving the quality of new hires and creating a positive experience for all new hires that delivers effective results
- Driving employment equity initiatives in line with EE plan
- This specialist position is accountable for managing the activities directed at the completion of assignments and delivery of services
- Coordinates day-to-day activities for the team
- Develops work plans for the team and directly oversees the work assignments of individual associates and reviews results for completion
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field with 10+ years of recruiting experience preferably in a global and fast paced environment.
- Strong technology skills and experience with the use of an Applicant Tracking System (Workday and Phenom) are required.
- Excellent writing and strong verbal communication skills.
- Strong consultation skills and demonstrated ability to collaboratively partner with and coach customers.
- Must be able to develop and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff.
- Must possess strong initiative and interpersonal skills and be results-oriented.
Excellent leadership skills with a philosophy of creating a high-trust culture that empower employees as individual contributors and foster a strong team environment. Initiative, creativity, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management.
For positions based in South Africa, preference will be given to suitably qualified candidates from designated groups in line with the company's Employment Equity plan and targets.
