The position reports to the EMEA Engagement Manager
Short Role Description
The GITC provides technical consultancy to support and increase sales across EMEA working in close collaboration with Strategic, Industry
and Geographic Sales Managers to drive RA Technology adoption. Customers include Strategic Accounts, End Users, EPCs, SIs and
OEMs.
Focus industries
Metal, Mining and Cement (MMC), Oil & Gas (O&G) and Water/Wastewater (WWW)
Experience Required
Typically, 5 years of control and industry application experience. Good automation and process control knowledge required, experience of
DCS systems migration is an advantage but not essential. Must have solution experience in MMC and O&G industries, with additional
experience in the Water/Wastewater industry would be an advantage.
Core Competencies
- Good knowledge of applications, market trends, challenges and drivers within the MMC and O&G industries
- Practical implementation experience of relevant industry standards (S88, S95, TUV SIS, OPAF, etc.)
- Knowledge or Rockwell Automation Technology Stack would be an advantage

- Nationally recognized university degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, generally BS Electrical Engineering or BS Mechanical Engineering.
- Fluent native language and English, any additional relevant language skills would be an advantage
Functional
- Support revenue growth of the RA business through targeted pre-sales technical activity
- Drive RA technology adoption by developing strong technical and professional trusted relationships with the customer
- Provide technical consultancy to define and demonstrate architectures and solutions through conceptual design studies, proof of concepts and demos that create a significant technical advantage for the customer
- Ability to set and achieve challenging targets
- Take initiative in response to changing circumstances within the organization or markets
- Ensure the right level of business information is exchanged within the organization
- Keeps skills and knowledge up to date in all areas (technical and commercial)
