Position Overview
- The Technical Operations Manager is responsible for:
- Delivering, maintaining, optimizing and monitoring performance and processes across multiple product teams
- Serving as a gatekeeper and facilitator between Engineering teams and other stakeholder teams within the organization (Service Delivery, Support, Legal, Cloud, Infosec etc) to provide handoff from Engineering to Production
- Managing and leading the PD DevOps resources, processes, and practices across multiple product teams to advance best practices in the deployment lifecycle, including continuous integration, application topology configuration, automated deployments and proactive environment monitoring & management
- Managing the organizations Cloud costs on (Azure)
- Collaborating with a team and contributing to solution, architecture & service designs, understanding their impact on application/infrastructure/platform, ensuring the availability of supporting components and enabling the product team.
- Team Management: KPIs /Performance reviews/ Leave Management/ Individual PDPs
- Ensuring necessary development controls and governance are in place and policies to ensure alignment
- Ensuring effective monitoring of committed work items
- Identification and mitigation of risks for services into production
- Coordinating and managing key stakeholder interests
- Ensuring availability, sustainability, and accessibility of platform systems/services
- Identify bottlenecks and come up with novel ways to solve them.
- Maintain compliance with business process and policies.
- Identify and stay up-to-date with new technology trends.
- Project and Scrum Team Engagements: Working within the Project Team as Scrum Master
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be highly innovative, flexible, and self-directed.
- Ability to manage a high-performance team focused on accountability and meeting expectations.
- Experience working in a medium or large software development company.
- Must be able to work well on a personal level with colleagues.
- PropTech domain expertise is a bonus.

- Ability to lead and mentor team members
- Min 5 years experience in a Team Lead/Management role
- 5-10 years experience in product development and/or cloud infrastructure
- Excellent leadership and people skills driving, cohesion and cross-functional collaboration
- with a natural ability to multi-task
- Previous experience in hiring, managing, and mentoring a team of specialists.
- Working knowledge of current and emerging virtualization, infrastructure, and cloud and containers technologies and architectures, such as Windows, Linux, Azure, APIM, Docker etc.
- Knowledge and experience of Web services, SOAP and RESTful interfaces, and API Service Management
- Experience working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum, XP, and with teams leveraging DevOps and Continuous Delivery / Integration
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and tools
- Excellent problem-solving ability in complex environments
- Strong knowledge and experience on Azure (Certification preferred)
- An appreciation for best practices and innovation in product design and development, user experience, and team management.
- NDip/ Bachelors degree and 8+ years working in complex/matrix environments
