Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to ensure the profitability and continued growth of all People products. The incumbent will work closely with the design engineering team, review product design, suggest enhancements, and oversees development to ensure marketability of products. The Product Specialist will lead a team through the project lifecycle by planning, budgeting, scheduling and tracking a project plan.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Work closely with the scrum master, scrum team, and external customers and stakeholders to deliver technology products that our customers love and that create value for our business
- Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
- Define tasks and required resources
- Allocate resources and manage project budget
- Manage multiple projects and multiple vendors by ensuring clear delegation of duties and effective communication
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and communicate effectively to a wide range of stakeholders
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
- Accurately document requirements, testing results and training materials
- Lead discovery and requirement gathering activities
- Ensure project plan is sound and report regularly on its progress
- Deliver projects on time and within budget
- Define training methodologies and roll out strategies
- Support the business throughout the change process
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings and performing requirements analysis
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports and project plans

- Project Management qualification (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM or equivalent experience as a Project Manager
- Proven track record delivering projects within agreed timelines
- Well-articulated and structured communication skills is a mandate as the person will be pivotal in communicating with business stakeholders from across the globe
- Experience in successfully leading teams
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills with an ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
- Strong understanding of Agile & Scrum with a proven track record of delivery
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Strong collaboration skills
- Conflict resolution experience
- Strong analytical skills to analyze market trends and recommend improvements
