Role Purpose
Identify opportunities to design and build and take to market, inter-aliaPlatform businesses
Design, model, test and launch new ventures operationally, commercially and financially
Develop market Awareness, Acquisition, Activation and Retention strategies and plans
Take responsibility for the launch and success of the ventures
Assess build, buy, and Partner options to accelerate growth plans

Prepare written documentation across all stages of developing a venture
Must be able to manage the end-to-end incubation and acceleration stages of multiple ventures running concurrently
Build quality business plans, go-to-market and growth plans for ventures to be accelerated
Follow a lean start-up methodology to launch new ventures in the market to ignite and prove new revenue streams
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Identify and validate new venture opportunities
Develop the vision, framework and strategy for new ventures to be built
Create operating models and business process maps of the high-level activities involved in defining what a planned business entity will do, who is responsible, and how the success of a business unit can be determined
Identify, develop, and assess build, buy, and Partner options to accelerate the growth plans
Identify and exploit opportunities for venture funding
Participate in the design, development, deployment, testing and configuration of products affiliated with each venture.
Ensure alignment of products to vision defined for venture
Work collaboratively to understand the customers problem statements, the value chain, cost structures, profit pools, size of the opportunity, and the associated sensitivity analysis
Support the development and scale-up of a venture from inception to exit
Define and develop business, financial and commercial models that deliver outsized value to customers
Establish key performance indicators for venture outcomes
Compile reports at each incubation and acceleration stage of ventures to cascade design considerations, trial findings, market reactions to the launched venture, and pivot recommendations
Deliver a great experience to partners when working with our organisation - Be the Internal partners liaison.
Develop Vision and strategy for Ventures
Drive ventures through the Incubation and, where applicable, the acceleration stages contained in the Innovation Framework
Assess outcomes of each stage/sub-stage, cascade findings, opportunities and pivot recommendations
Develop, test and execute business models and plans
Develop best practices, processes and innovative procedures to improve the quality of ventures established and their associated success rate
Identify and mitigate risks confronting planned ventures
Provide written documentation (incl. reports)
The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have
Postgraduate Degree in Commerce or Business Science degrees
Bachelor's Degree in technology or engineering-related discipline is a must
Demonstrated entrepreneurial experience
7 years of experience incubating new businesses and/or establishing new businesses or markets
Strong preference for candidates with entrepreneurial/intrapreneurial and consultancy industry experience
5 years of Business Management hands-on experience
Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills Are Required
Ability to influence and get stakeholder buy-in
Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
Ability to apply a disciplined experimental and design thinking approach to solving problems and modelling businesses using data and current technology tools
