Security company in Durban is looking to employ security officers.
Job requirements:
- Minimum Grade C certificate.
- A relevant post Matric qualification will serve as an added advantage.
- Registration with PSIRA is required.
- Security clearance is also required.
- Overtime may be required occasionally.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel will be added advantage.
Job responsibilities:
- Effectively execute access control.
- Ensure that all access control measures are adhered to.
- Ensure that buildings/ fenced areas are patrolled and report all security breaches.
- Operate and maintain electronic systems, such as X-ray machines and walk through metal detectors.
- Monitor security surveillance and control rooms by keeping records.
- Enforce all security regulations, directives and policies of the department.
- Check and maintain proper functioning of all security registers.
