Looking for an accounts clerk for a permanent position in Somerset East.
Job requirements:
- Working hours: MONDAY - FRIDAY 08:00 – 17:00
- Matric
- Strong knowledge of Pastel Accounting and PAYE (VAT training will be provided)
- Knowledge of Notional VAT
- Willing to grow within the company
- Must be a South African citizen
- Fully computer literate
- Have eye for detail and attention to detail
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Must be deadline driven
- Honest and team player
Job responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Financial Accountant
- Responsible for assisting with payroll for 100 staff members
- Oversee 3 staff members
- Cash book management
- Petty cash control
- Invoicing and recons of debtors and creditors
- Conducting bank recons and salary recons
- Responsible for Notional VAT claims
- Responsible for PAYE submission and VAT submission
- Management of accounts
- Booking of containers
- Ensure that all loads are completed timeously and efficiently
- General management
