Swift Silliker (Pty) Ltd t/a Merieux NutriSciences based in Claremont has an available a position for an accountant to join their team.
Job responsibilities:
- Reporting to the FM, the candidate will be responsible for the processing and preparation of monthly accounting records.
- Responsible for the full accounting function, short of preparing management accounts.
- Processing accounts payable and receivable, cash book capturing, bank recons, GL and subsidiary ledger recons.
Job requirements:
- The incumbent will be required to be an active part of the accounting team.
- Good knowledge of monthly journal entries as well as accruals.
- Minimum Degree / B Tech in accounting.
- Good personal organisational skills, analytical and problem-solving ability, strong sense of responsibility, high level of accuracy and ability to plan and prioritise effectively.
- Above average knowledge of Pastel and Excel.
