We require the services of an experienced (at least 2 years experience) IT technician to be based in our Cape Town offices. The job involves working with a dynamic team of young people.
Job requirements:
- Your role will include installing hardware and software on site, installing wired and wireless networks, computer repairs as well as troubleshooting and telephonic support. You will be requiring completing a general technical test pinpoint your skill level.
- Minimum Requirements and Personal Attributes
- Email setup Basic working knowledge of PC and Apple hardware, software, networking, peripherals, ADSL setup, and associated basic troubleshooting
- Good client liaison skills – experience working with clients face to face and on the telephone
- Neat, presentable and organised – in appearance and within the work environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Punctual and reliable
- Hard working and willing to learn
- Must reside in Cape Town
- Driver’s license is essential Technical Requirements :ISP Services – DNS/POP3/SMTP / DNS/ DYNDNS/ADSLMicrosoft Server software Active Directory
- Microsoft Exchange server
- Experienced in Microsoft Office
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Outlook all versions
- Good understanding of networking principles / TCP/IP and Microsoft Networks
- IT Help desk skills – ADSL trouble shooting (Min 1 year experience)
- Web hosting / Email Trouble Shooting (Min 1 year experience) Setup of ADSL Routers
- Printer Setup and Networking
- Setup of Wireless access points
- Starting salary depending on skill level
