Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales teams and clients to understand project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
- Assist in the development of project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.
- Coordinate project activities, including procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors, to ensure timely delivery and installation of refrigeration systems.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or obstacles that may arise.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project feasibility, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
- Prepare and present project reports, including budget analysis, progress tracking, and risk assessments, to senior management and clients.
- Assist in the resolution of project-related disputes or conflicts, working to maintain positive relationships with all parties involved.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process optimization, efficiency gains, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in project management to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in project management within the building industry, preferably with exposure to mechanical, HVAC, or refrigeration projects.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build rapport with clients.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar applications.
- Knowledge of construction and building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed and work flexible hours to accommodate project requirements.
- Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to take initiative and drive projects to successful completion.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience working with refrigeration systems or related equipment advantageous but not essential
- Familiarity with CAD software for reviewing and interpreting technical drawings.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, providing project management support and coordination.
