Apply If You

• Have a tertiary qualification in journalism, Afrikaans or any other relevant qualification (e.g. media studies).
• Are curious about our country and its people, and are in touch with current events locally.
• Are eager to learn and grow professionally.
• Love stories and storytelling, regardless of format or platform.
• Are a good writer but are also interested in digital media.
• Are adept at shooting video on a smartphone.

What We Need

• Good storytelling skills.
• The ability to work quickly, accurately and under pressure.
• The ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Someone whos driven, energetic and basically awesome.

What Youll Be Doing

• Create content for Kuiers social media platforms.
• Write articles for the magazine.
• Search for interesting stories online our readers will enjoy.
• Build and maintain a network of contacts.
