Job Title: Joint CBA Analyst Sustainment
Specific Knowledge, Skills, And Experience Include
Supporting Army Future Command, Future and Concept Center, Futures Integration Division, the analyst will provide Sustainment analysis across the seven warfighting functions. Provides analysis and recommendations of developed/developing JCIDS products to the Division Chief and associated team. Involvement in experimentation and capability/threat based analyzes. Assist in the development of the Top Down Modernization Process (TDMP) and its supporting data environment.
- Knowledge of CJCSI 3170 series documents (JCIDS process)
- Knowledge of US Army acquisition decision processes to include tools, modeling, and current processes
- Knowledge and experience in Sustainment functions
- Knowledge and experience in application of M&S techniques in support of JCIDS analysis
- Skillful and experienced practitioner of Capabilities Based Assessments (CBA) and associated JCIDS products including (CDD, ACDD, DCRs)
- Skillful management of multiple, concurrent efforts
- Experienced facilitator, briefer, and presenter of analytical results (written or orally) to senior leadership (Army, other Service, and Joint)
- Operations and or Planning experience at battalion level or higher
Active SECRET Clearance required
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of experience with CJCSI 3170 series (JCIDS) processes, methodologies, and products
3+ years of experience conducting Capability Based Assessments
3+ years of experience with requirements or needs analysis
3+ years of experience with specific background in Maneuver Support/Protection WFF or
5+ years of Division staff or higher planning staff experience as a combat support/service support officer
5+ years of documenting analytical efforts, constructing briefings, and presenting results
Working knowledge of TR 71-20
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite to include Teams
Knowledgeable in Database functions
Knowledgeable in statistical programs including Minitab, Excel
Desired
Masters degree
3+ years of experience with: AFC, Future and Concept Center
3+ years of analytical study design
Certification in Data Analysis and Visualization
Defense Acquisition University Certificates
- CLR 101: Introduction to JCIDS
- CLR 151: Analysis of Alternatives
- CLR 250: Capability Based Assessment
- CLR 252: Key Performance Parameters
Capability Development Training: Army Capability Developers Course or Service Equivalent
