The Stock Controller is responsible for ensuring the store is correctly stocked and that all stock movement within the store is properly controlled in order to ensure a brilliant customer experience.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Overseeing the movements of all stock in and out of the warehouse.
- Ensuring the storeroom stock levels are always correct.
- Receiving all stock accurately and GRN'd efficiently into the system.
- Ensuring that all stock leaving the store follows the correct process and is signed off.
- Oversee the picking and packing of stock for dispatch notes.
- Investigating any variances in stock, identifying root causes, and providing solutions.
- Ensuring the storeroom is kept neat and tidy.
- Pulling stock for use on the depot floor.
- Experience in a related role is an advantage.
- Relevant tertiary education is an advantage.
- Computer literate; MS Excel, MS Word experience.
- Great organisational skills essential.
- Strong Attention to detail.
- Is fluent in spoken and written English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is organised, systematic, works to a plan and gets "stuck in" to get the job done on time.
- Prides themselves on their attention to detail.
- Meticulous about ensuring all admin is up to date, completely accurate and under control.
- Understands the importance of deadlines and can work accurately and efficiently under pressure and with a sense of urgency.
- Someone who can work well within a team and holds everyone accountable to their commitments.

- Is fluent in spoken and written English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
