Responsibilities
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing financial transactions, and producing various financial reports. The ideal candidate should possess excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices. This role will also include PA functions as well as general HR. If you have a passion for numbers and enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced, start-up environment, this role will be suitable to you. Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Books to the trial balance stage
- Basic administration duties
- Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
- Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
- Matric (Mathematics and Accountancy essential)
- Relevant Finance Degree (Financial Accounting or Cost and Management Accounting)
- Completed SAIPA Articles or 2-3 years relevant experience
- Accounting software (Xero Accounting advantageous)
- Proficiency in English
- Advanced Excell skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
