Junior Accountant

Our client is a reputable auditing and accounting firm based in Centurion, Gauteng, and provides accurate, ethical, and strategic accounting services to individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises. They are committed to excellence and are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Accountant to join their dynamic team.

Successful candidate to start 01 March 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Compilation of financial statements
• Audit fieldwork
• VAT and payroll reconciliations
• Stock counts
• Tax calculations
• Guidance to trainee accountants
• SARS audit assistance
• Monthly accounting
• General ad-hoc accounting tasks

Qualifications and Skills:

• Completed SAIPA articles
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Knowledge of QuickBooks, SAGE, Xero, CaseWare
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
• Own reliable transportation and laptop capable of running required software

Compensation:

• Salary based on level of experience

Working hours:

• Full-time, in-office position with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.
