We are looking for a junior accounting/admin clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and admin tasks. We are based in Randburg.
Job requirements:
- A successful accounting assistant should be familiar with all accounting procedures and have an aptitude for numbers.
- At least 1 years’ experience or an A or B in school accounting
- Must be living in Northern hub (-(JHB CBD,Roodepoort,Midrand,)
- Ability to perform filing and record
- keeping tasks
- Data entry skills
- Experience with spreadsheets
Job responsibilities:
- A successful accounting clerk will ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.
- Following up with debtors
- Following on invoices and credit notes
- Balancing payments against invoices.
- Following up with suppliers for pods, etc
- Reconciling accounts in a timely manner
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
- Provide assistance to company personnel
- Part of your job description will include working as an assistant to the accountant.
