Looking for a junior airfreight RIB controller in Edenvale.
Job responsibilities:
- Ensure the airport operation is completed without disruption and delay and making all information available to ensure all parties are aware of shipment status
- Assisting with export and import queries
- Assisting with files
- Coordinate customs examinations when required
- Ensuring staff follows the process flow for their respective job functions
- Submitting custom queries
- Follow up with drawn cargo
- Updating releases received from relevant departments
- Sort RIB’s received
Job requirements:
- Matric or equivalent senior certification
- Minimum of 3 years experience in air imports
- Good understanding of customs procedures and requirements
- Leadership skills
- Strategic decision making
- Problem solving and managing conflict
- Attention to detail and quality focus
- Ability to work under pressure
- Time management
- Establishing work relationships
- Maintain and build strong client relationships
