Main Purpose of Job
To Provide layouts, general arrangements and detailed technical drawings on AutoCAD in accordance with quality assurance standards and clients project specifications.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liase with design team to obtain clear specifications
- Support the design team with necessary drawings from concept to final handover
- Create detailed design CAD drawings
- Create detailed design CAD drawing for construction
- Liaise with Business Unit Manager to understand needs
- Continuously look for and suggest ways to improve the process
- Follow quality control procedures
- Promote and maintain Health and Safety across projects, teams and business units
- And any other duties that the employer may from time to time direct
Requirements
- A recognised certificate in AUTOCAD
- 2-5 years relevant experience preferably in Civil Engineering Projects
- Drivers License
- Excellent Computor proficiency (MS Office Microsoft Suite)
- Model maker and Pipe Maker will be an advantage
- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices

- Willing and able to take initiative and solve problems
