Job Specifications:
- Register claims and appoint assessors
- Manage claims in terms of claims SLA
- Make decision regarding merit - indemnify or not
- Negotiate settlement
- Manage the salvage process (motor & non-motor salvage)
- Detection of fraud and management of fraudulent indicators
- Keep the operational system updated
- Provide thorough and timeous feedback to the relevant parties
- Complaints resolution
The Candidate must have the following:-
- Person must be fully bilingual (speak, write and read both English and Afrikaans)
- Matric
- NQF Level 4 - Full qualification (Short-term insurance) as set by regulation (150 credits)
- Regulatory Exam 5 (Representatives) successfully completed
- A minimum of two (2) years´ claims handling experience (both commercial & personal lines on motor and nonmotor)
- DOFA confirmation from FSB
- Ski system experience (Genasys system) will be an advantage
- Must have 1-3 years’ experience as a claims consultant in STI
- Must have experience within claims with motor and non-motor on both personal and commercial lines
- The candidates must also be able to handle high work volumes and be able to work in a highly pressurized environment. The team is great but the work load is a lot.
