This well-established company is an international manufacturer of superior quality webbing for light to heavy industrial applications. Join the Port Elizabeth team in this exciting position. You will report directly to the Financial Manager and be responsible for:
- The daily maintenance and control of the costing system to ensure proper costing of all products and to ensure accurate valuations and profitability analysis.
- To professionally manage the costing and stock functions and provide dedicated support to the financials functions.
- Assist the Admin Department forward through applying a culture of "Customer First" and "can Do", continuous improvement and profit orientation.
Maintain The Costing System
- Pricing: Maintain accurate product costing to provide supporting information for pricing decisions.
- Stock Valuations: Maintain accurate product costing to ensure proper stock valuations.
- Costing Factors: Maintain up to date and accurate costing factors for Waste, Labour, Overheads, Commission, Freight {Local and Export), Operating Costs.
- Bill of Materials: Ensure up to date and accurate bills of materials for all products maintain within costing system.
- Reporting: Ensure all required reports completed and submitted per the advised deadlines.
- Variance Analysis: Analysis and correct variances between the costing system and actual monthly results.
- Ensure all stock codes loaded on System:
- Random testing of material stores to verify accurate of stock system.
- Resolve all stock queries on timeous basis.
- Complete all landed cost calculations for imported raw materials.
- Ensure returnable containers maintained at minimum levels.
- Ensure stock levels are maintained within budgeted levels.
- Obsolete and slow-moving stocks to be cleared regular.
- Investigate negative stock figures.
- Ensure GRN suspense clear on monthly basis.
- Ensure all monthly stock take processes completed accurately.
- Maintain monthly stock comparatives.
- Matric, with Maths/Accounting.
- Related Tertiary qualification.
- Excellent communication skills (written, spoken and electronic).
- Alert and adaptable to change.
- Pay attention to detail and deadline conscious.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and SAGE or similar (highly advantageous).
- Clean credit and criminal history.
- Ownership mentality and a can-do attitude.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8-5pm and Fridays 8-4:30pm.
