Credit controller is needed at Xpedient Medical – a specialized business management consultancy focused on the medical industry based in Hermanus.
Job responsibilities:
- Ensure all account receipting is up to date and accurate.
- Ensuring that the correct codes are used for billing and reporting any issues that may arise.
- Ensuring that the medical aids have received all claims and payments are processed within the expected time frame.
- Investigation of any short payments, rejections and establishing whether the account should be referred for reprocessing /PMB policy.
- Following each specific Dr’s billing rules and ensuring accounts are managed correctly.
- Management of the entire PMB process and adhering to the PMB policy.
- Ensure maximum profitability for assigned practices by following company policies and procedures.
- Reporting /communicating any issues in the day to day procedures to assigned SAM.
Job requirements:
- Proficient interpersonal communication skills in English and Afrikaans (read, write and speak)
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Intermediate level)
- Above average attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills
